Oh boy, this zodiac business…
Everybody’s either freaking out about it or complaining about people freaking out about it. It should all calm down not that it was added that these changes only apply to births after Nov 2009, but the initial shock was huge.
I was pretty uncomfortable when I first read it because I’ve always enjoyed being a Scorpio. I know it sounds ridiculous and trivial, but I’ve always loved having that as a part of who I am. I’m practically the poster child for a Scorpio woman — emotionally intense, mysterious, quietly jealous, a sexual dynamo. Even the word ‘Scorpio’ is one of my favorites. It’s always been a perfect fit for me; so hearing that I would have to suddenly become a Libra made me upset, honestly. I’ve never been very faithful in horoscopes because I mean really, the same thing isn’t going to happen to everyone born under the same star sign unless it’s like a worldwide catastrophe. But I always believed that there’s something very special, very cosmic, about the day you were born. And I definitely believe in romantic compatibility based on star signs. I’ve had enough failed relationships with enough people under the same star signs, and enough wonderful relationships with people under other star signs that I definitely think there’s something to that. That said, I won’t not go out with a person based on their astrological sign because I know that all people aren’t exactly what they’re profiled as; but I do believe that based on my record, most are.
So I’m relieved to hear I’m still a Scorpio. If it doesn’t mean anything to you, or you think it’s dumb that people were freaking out, fine. Just know, my astrological sign means a lot to me whether you get it or not.
